About The Position

This role is for a Senior Finance Manager focused on Revenue Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) within the MT Transcend program at Johnson & Johnson. The MT Transcend program is a global business transformation initiative aimed at modernizing end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing ERP systems, standardizing business processes, and enabling an integrated data strategy through SAP S/4 HANA. While EMEA has progressed with the Order-To-Cash deployment, North America is now beginning its transformation journey. This role is critical for ensuring the S/4 HANA platform is used effectively from day one of go-live by maximizing the opportunity for Commercial, Supply Chain, Deliver, and Finance communities. The ideal candidate will have a deep personal motivation to advance healthcare and Finance processes through transformation, backed by self-learning and experience in Finance, Compliance, and ERP fields relevant to MedTech. They should be eager to drive change despite ambiguity and resistance, leading by example and collaborating with the Program team and North America Business Unit deployment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a university degree or professional qualification.
  • > 5 years’ MedTech experience within a BUF / FP&A role or SC Finance Commercial Finance Business Unit experience in North America on Revenue processes – preferably across Surgery and/or EP Neuro Business Units.
  • A solid understanding of MedTech Supply Chain, Deliver and Commercial Operations.
  • Proven hands-on project delivery preferred.
  • Technology focus or experience in implementing / supporting technology projects.
  • Good knowledge of J&J systems with SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with validated ability to influence/collaborate to get desired results.
  • Financial and factual analytical abilities including data & fact patterns.
  • Strong written work.
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills - specifically the ability to communicate highly technical matters to non-specialist business partners.
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills.
  • E2E process thinking with an ability to connect the dots and understand the “So What?” (e.g. from Logistics through to financial results), including Revenue Recognition & Inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Template Design for Revenue financial processes, ensuring base business functional requirements are met.
  • Ensure all existing and newly defined Go to Market models are incorporated into Global Template Design.
  • Act as a key player in the Finance Revenue Squad on Global Template and Localisation design.
  • Represent Finance as the point of contact for Revenue in the E2E Process design.
  • Plan and roadmap the objectives of future capabilities for appropriate deployments.
  • Lead and participate in design workshops and fit gap discussions to shape solutions.
  • Create and align Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and socialize them with Functional Owners.
  • Closely partner with other Functional Leads to make cross-functional KDDs and other decisions.
  • Perform End to End assessment on the feasibility of proposed changes.
  • Validate change impacts and communicate them to functional teams (organizational, process, tech).
  • Drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate the Subject Matter Advisory (SMA) network.
  • Review and approve design planning outputs and prioritization.
  • Provide input into readiness plans for the function, including deployment tasks.
  • Act as the key Finance Revenue process owner globally, ensuring standardized and efficient design of all Finance requirements.
  • Actively engage with the wider Program team and other Finance Organizations to ensure consistency of the Global Template within the overall Finance Roadmap.
  • Ensure Revenue Global Template design is transformational, robust, and compliant.
  • Proactive participation in Solution Confirmation, including design localization, understanding, interpreting, and cascading the Global Template, ensuring all Finance localization requirements (statutory, legal, etc.) are documented and brought to life via design, testing, deployment, and hyper-care.
  • Bridge from Finance Processes to the Program during critical phases of solution confirmation, Global design, business adoption, go-live, and hyper-care, supporting through the first month-end/quarter-end closes.
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve understanding of Global Finance priorities to ensure alignment and standardization.
  • May be requested to assist with other areas within the Transcend Finance remit.
