About The Position

Marsh is seeking candidates for a Senior Finance Manager, FP&A to join our New York City office to support our Marsh US Finance team. This role is base in NYC and will require 3 days in office. The applicable base salary range for this role is $115,200 to $230,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an FP&A focused role
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, such as Power BI and Oracle SmartView
  • Proven ability to build complex dynamic financial models
  • Self-starter and team player with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary business partner for U.S. Practices & Specialties, supporting more than $2B in revenue.
  • Provide strategic advice and business support to three U.S. Executive Committee members and their direct reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc/special projects across the Marsh U.S. business.
  • Deliver financial planning and analysis to support short- and long-term goals and inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and present corporate deliverables, including Quarterly Business Reviews and U.S. Executive Committee materials.
  • Potentially manage and develop analyst-level colleagues.
  • Collaborate across teams to resolve complex issues and provide strategic direction.
  • Partner with cross-functional groups (Compliance, Controllership, Operations, HR) to drive efficiency and maximize business impact.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that summarize analyses, results, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Build and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and develop business cases and investment summaries.
  • Enhance financial processes and systems to improve the quality of reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
