About The Position

Marsh is seeking candidates for a Senior Finance Manager, FP&A to join our New York City office to support our Marsh US Finance team. This role is base in NYC and will require 3 days in office. We will count on you to serve as the primary business partner for U.S. Practices & Specialties, supporting more than $2B in revenue. Provide strategic advice and business support to three U.S. Executive Committee members and their direct reports. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc/special projects across the Marsh U.S. business. Deliver financial planning and analysis to support short- and long-term goals and inform business decisions. Prepare and present corporate deliverables, including Quarterly Business Reviews and U.S. Executive Committee materials. Potentially manage and develop analyst-level colleagues. Collaborate across teams to resolve complex issues and provide strategic direction. Partner with cross-functional groups (Compliance, Controllership, Operations, HR) to drive efficiency and maximize business impact. Prepare reports and presentations that summarize analyses, results, and recommendations for leadership. Build and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and develop business cases and investment summaries. Enhance financial processes and systems to improve the quality of reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an FP&A focused role
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, such as Power BI and Oracle SmartView
  • Proven ability to build complex dynamic financial models
  • Self-starter and team player with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
