About The Position

Develops reports and dashboards to analyze business objectives and performance. Assumes responsibility for more complex requests involving multiple sources of data both internal and external. Leads analysts responsible for creating and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports and dashboards. Maintains reporting tools, resolving system issues, identifying process enhancements, and ensuring system integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field of study.
Five (5) years report writing and/or healthcare financial systems experience.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of crystal report writing or other report writing programs
Knowledge of health care revenue cycle processes
SQL database knowledge
EPIC Clarity knowledge

Responsibilities

Leads the design and build of automated dashboards and custom reports for the Prisma Health Medical Group as well as across the Enterprise.
Creates and builds ad hoc queries per the request of various groups within Prisma Health. These requests are more complex in nature and require more advanced technical expertise.
Performs detailed work for changes to dashboard templates in support of dashboard enhancements and improvements.
Collaborates with programmers, Application Support and ITS to monitor the performance of the Medical Group Analytic System.
Submits and monitors helpdesk requests sent to the vendor and ITS.
Responsible for security oversight for the Medical Group Analytic System.
Leads the month end closing process by validating data and performing QA on dashboards before their release.
Oversees monitoring the daily, weekly, and monthly downloads and scheduled jobs.
Researches and resolves issues.
Tests software changes, including the addition of fields and other customizations.
Coordinates the scheduling of upgrades and validates data following system changes.
Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends system enhancements for incorporation into the analytics system to support business objectives.
Participates in training on analytic tools as needed.
Coordinates the work of other Financial Analysts and Financial Informatics Analysts.
Mentors and advises junior analysts in the department on these activities and supervises work efforts as directed by the manager.
