Requirements

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 12 years of finance business experience is required, with strong technical finance capabilities and demonstrated business partnership.
People management experience is required, including the ability to lead, engage, and develop high-performing teams.
Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to frame business results, translate insights into action, and communicate complex financial information clearly is required.
Ability to think creatively, work effectively in a team environment, and anticipate changing business requirements across a large, complex landscape is required.
Demonstrated digital fluency, including the ability to leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to improve decision-making, drive productivity, and enable business transformation, is required.

Nice To Haves

An MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy and execution for the global Trauma business in partnership with senior business leaders.
Deliver financial commitments, improve forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and maintain strong compliance discipline.
Provide strategic decision support through robust analytics, active Integrated Business Planning engagement, and clear performance insights.
Lead business plans and forecast updates.
Support external business development evaluations.
Influence pricing and deal economics.
Partner cross-functionally to optimize inventory, excess and obsolete reserves, instruments, and capital deployment.
Focus on financial priorities including market share growth, gross profit improvement, price realization, lower cost to serve, and improved utilization of Trauma inventory and instruments.
Lead, engage, and develop the Trauma finance team.
Serve as a key member of the Trauma leadership team.
