Learn about our company culture directly from our team. YOU As Senior Finance Digital Business Partner, you will play a key role in bridging the Digital Technology team and the Finance organization. This role requires the ability to understand Finance business needs, translate those needs into clear Digital requirements, support prioritization of Finance-related initiatives, and help build a structured intake and governance process for Finance requests requiring Digital support. Additionally, this role will serve as the frontline Digital partner for Finance stakeholders by helping define the Finance technology roadmap, support business case and ROI development, improve process maturity, and ensure Finance initiatives and enhancements are aligned with business value, enterprise priorities, and Digital delivery capacity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in digital transformation, business partnering, finance systems, ERP, financial process improvement, product management, project management, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of Finance business processes, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting, accounting, procurement, treasury, tax, compliance, and ERP-related operations.
  • Experience supporting financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, accounting treatment, provisions, estimates, reporting accuracy, and related financial controls.
  • Experience supporting financial planning and forecasting cadences, including monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range planning where applicable.
  • Experience working as a bridge between business teams and technology teams, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable Digital initiatives.
  • Experience managing intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, enhancement governance, and stakeholder alignment for business or technology portfolios.
  • Experience developing business cases, ROI analysis, cost-benefit analysis, project lookbacks, and value realization tracking.
  • Experience supporting cost discipline, productivity analysis, scenario modeling, risk assessment, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, statutory reporting considerations, and corporate/local policy requirements.
  • Strong ability to build and manage cross-functional relationships without hierarchy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect business process, technology capability, financial impact, and enterprise value.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and external partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Data analytics tools
  • Proficient in Finance systems such as SAP, SAC, Concur, OneSource, OpenText VIM, or similar platforms

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Business Partnership: With a strong understanding of Finance business processes, challenges, and opportunities, lead the identification, development, and alignment of Finance business needs with Digital solutions and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Finance stakeholders, Digital leadership, Digital Centers of Excellence, and cross-functional teams to maximize opportunities, build consensus on high-quality business cases, and prioritize initiatives for business impact.
  • Serve as the primary Digital partner for Finance, helping Finance stakeholders translate business needs into clear requirements, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Finance stakeholders across FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and other Finance functions to understand priorities, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with Digital delivery capacity.
  • Help Finance stakeholders develop and maintain a Finance business roadmap, including system improvements, reporting needs, automation opportunities, process maturity, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Stay in alignment with Digital leadership team members and Centers of Excellence to ensure Finance priorities are properly evaluated, sequenced, and delivered through the right Digital delivery teams.
  • Finance Intake, Prioritization & Roadmap Management: Build and manage a structured Digital intake process for Finance requests, including new projects, enhancements, reporting needs, system changes, automation opportunities, and support escalations.
  • Partner with Finance and Digital stakeholders to evaluate incoming requests based on business value, urgency, regulatory or compliance needs, risk reduction, resource capacity, technical complexity, and strategic alignment.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions with Finance leadership and Digital delivery teams to ensure the right Finance initiatives are sequenced and resourced appropriately.
  • Maintain visibility into the Finance-related Digital portfolio, including active initiatives, backlog items, enhancement requests, resource constraints, dependencies, risks, and decision points.
  • Work closely with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather process insights, document business requirements, map current-state and future-state processes, and identify opportunities for rationalization, simplification, automation, and standardization.
  • Partner with Finance and Digital teams to define clear scope, success criteria, expected outcomes, and business ownership for Finance initiatives and enhancements.
  • Champion the use of data, dashboards, KPIs, and structured decision-making to improve Finance prioritization, roadmap planning, and Digital value delivery.
  • Partner with Finance and business leadership to translate key business drivers into financial plans, system requirements, reporting needs, and measurable performance targets.
  • Business Case, ROI & Value Delivery: Partner with Finance stakeholders to develop business cases for Finance-related Digital initiatives, including problem statements, business benefits, cost estimates, ROI, payback, risk reduction, productivity improvement, and value realization assumptions.
  • Help Finance teams quantify the value of Digital initiatives, including process efficiency, manual effort reduction, improved controls, faster reporting cycles, improved forecast accuracy, better decision support, and reduced operational risk.
  • Collaborate with Digital delivery teams to estimate solution options, delivery effort, resource needs, technology dependencies, and implementation risks.
  • Develop consistent templates and standards for Finance intake, business requirements, prioritization scoring, business cases, ROI analysis, and post-implementation lookbacks.
  • Track value delivery for completed Finance initiatives and enhancements, including adoption, realized benefits, process improvements, and lessons learned.
  • Provide portfolio-level reporting to Finance and Digital leadership on Finance roadmap progress, intake volume, backlog health, delivery performance, business value, and key risks.
  • Support executive-level updates and recommendations on Finance Digital priorities, investment trade-offs, resource constraints, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost discipline, productivity initiatives, and scenario analysis to support Finance and Digital investment decisions.
  • Monitor performance against financial targets, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective actions through data-driven analysis.
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Execution: Act as a strategic advisor and trusted Digital partner to Finance leadership, providing insights and recommendations on technology strategy, roadmap planning, process improvements, and initiative prioritization.
  • Provide leadership in connecting Finance business stakeholders with the appropriate Digital COE delivery teams, including ERP, Corporate Applications, Digital Factory, and Customer/Sales systems, as needed.
  • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, governance cadences, and accountability measures for Finance-related Digital demand and roadmap execution.
  • Foster a strong partnership culture between Finance and Digital that emphasizes transparency, collaboration, business value, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support change management, stakeholder communication, user adoption, and process alignment for Finance-related Digital initiatives.
  • Help mature the Digital business partnership model by establishing repeatable intake, prioritization, roadmap, business case, and value delivery practices for Finance.
  • Contribute to high customer satisfaction for Finance stakeholders by developing and maintaining continuous interaction with stakeholders.
  • Support process and system improvements that strengthen financial statement accuracy, internal controls, compliance, audit readiness, and reporting integrity.
  • Identify, assess, and help manage financial and operational risks related to Finance processes and systems, including compliance risk, control risk, reporting risk, data quality risk, and process execution risk.
