About The Position

Brex is seeking a strategic, data-driven Senior Field Marketing Manager to establish and lead the field marketing strategy for their Commercial segment. This segment represents a significant growth opportunity for Brex. The role involves developing the segment strategy, identifying high-potential markets and audiences, and creating integrated programs to generate new pipeline and accelerate existing opportunities. The successful candidate will act as the marketing lead for the Commercial business, collaborating closely with Sales to understand their objectives, test new approaches, and build scalable, repeatable programs. Campaigns may encompass executive and customer events, industry programs, direct mail, digital experiences, partner activations, webinars, account-based plays, and other innovative methods. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen combined with hands-on execution capabilities, proficiency in analyzing pipeline and campaign performance, experience presenting to Sales leadership, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing, or a related role, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or another high-growth technology company.
  • Experience owning marketing strategy for a defined customer segment, region, industry, or sales organization.
  • A track record of sourcing and accelerating pipeline through integrated programs.
  • A strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and the ability to translate Sales priorities into focused marketing strategies.
  • Fluency in marketing and pipeline metrics, including the ability to analyze campaign performance, diagnose gaps, and clearly explain results.
  • Strong project management and executive communication skills, with comfort juggling multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for events, Sales meetings, and customer programs.

  • Experience building a field marketing motion or entering an underdeveloped segment.
  • Experience marketing to companies in the Commercial or emerging mid-market segment.
  • Familiarity with finance, fintech, spend, payments, ERP, or procurement audiences.
  • Experience using Salesforce and marketing analytics platforms to assess funnel performance and campaign impact.
  • Experience developing a business case for additional investment or team growth based on demonstrated results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the field marketing strategy, annual plan, budget, and pipeline goals for the Commercial segment.
  • Partner with Commercial Sales leadership and establish a planning rhythm across Marketing, Sales, and SDR teams.
  • Analyze account, pipeline, industry, geographic, and performance data to identify the highest-potential audiences.
  • Build integrated campaigns that combine in-person, digital, partner, content, direct mail, and account-based tactics.
  • Shape event strategy, from regional programs to targeted dinners. For larger experiences, partner with the Events team while owning the audience, objective, Sales plan, and pipeline outcome.
  • Test new campaign ideas, define success upfront, and turn successful initiatives into repeatable plays and documented playbooks.
  • Track results (pipeline, conversion, ROI) and present them to senior Marketing and Sales leaders.
