Senior Field Marketing Manager, Northwest

Horizon3
•$145,000 - $185,000•Remote

About The Position

Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to the mission of enabling organizations to proactively find and fix and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero has been adopted by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises. It is used by ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs. We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and formerly frustrated cybersecurity practitioners. We're committed to helping solve our common security problems: ineffective security tools, false positives resulting in alert fatigue, blind spots, "checkbox” security culture, cybersecurity skills shortage, and the long lead time and expense of hiring outside consultants. Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of B2B field marketing experience, including ownership of a region or segment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and run a field program portfolio with measurable pipeline outcomes, CPO discipline, and executive-level reporting.
  • Deep experience partnering with sales leadership and SDR management on pre- and post-program alignment, sequencing, and follow-up accountability.
  • Strong financial fluency: comfortable building CPO models, presenting ROI cases to leadership, and recommending investment trade-offs.
  • Experience running ABM-aligned field programs tied to named account lists, including executive dinners and CISO roundtables.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline tracking, campaign attribution, and performance reporting.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Pardot, HubSpot, or equivalent) for integrated campaign coordination.
  • Excellent written communication: executive-facing event briefs, compelling invite copy, and clear post-event performance summaries.
  • Track record of building repeatable field program frameworks, not one-off events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity field marketing. You understand the CISO and security practitioner buyer, the enterprise security sales cycle, and the competitive landscape.
  • Existing relationships with the security community, venues, and partners in the region.
  • Background in financial services, healthcare, or SLED, where compliance shapes how buyers evaluate security.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual and quarterly field marketing plan for the region, aligned to regional pipeline targets, segment priorities, and sales capacity.
  • Build integrated programs that connect field events to digital air cover, SDR sequences, and ABM account targeting, rather than running disconnected events.
  • Define and enforce CPO thresholds as hard gates for program investment, and build the marginal ROI model that justifies or redirects regional spend.
  • Own the regional field budget and make the trade-off calls on what to scale and what to cut.
  • Plan and execute a portfolio of high-signal programs: CISO dinners, executive roundtables, third-party conferences, hosted roadshows, and account-specific activations.
  • Lead SDR alignment for every program, including pre-event sequencing, on-site meeting coordination, and post-event follow-up SLAs.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing and the campaigns and ABM team to surround target accounts before, during, and after each program.
  • Own executive-tier programming, including speaker coordination, venue selection, and curated invite strategy for C-level and VP-level targets.
  • Partner with channel field marketing on partner-led programs in the region.
  • Own regional pipeline contribution reporting: meetings booked, pipeline created, pipeline influenced, and stage progression, all tied to program spend.
  • Run the 30-day post-event review for every program and apply the learnings to future program design.
  • Partner with marketing operations to keep Salesforce campaign tracking and attribution clean across all field activity.
  • Present regional performance to marketing and sales leadership with financial framing: spend vs. pipeline, CPO vs. threshold, and ROI trends.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to the region's sales leaders, account executives, and SDR managers.
  • Mentor Field Marketing Managers and Specialists and share repeatable playbooks across regions. This role has no direct reports.
  • Collaborate with brand and product marketing so every program is anchored in Horizon3's messaging.
  • Lead horizontally with peers in digital, campaigns, ABM, and marketing operations to build integrated programs rather than siloed field activations.
