About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Field Coordinator to join their Operations team for projects located in Herndon, VA, Richmond, VA, and Culpeper, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position where the coordinator will provide field supervision of on-site trade work, focusing on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. The role involves coordinating material delivery and installation, facilitating communication between trades, monitoring workforce production, and collaborating with project management teams. A key aspect of the role is promoting a zero-accident safety culture and enforcing safety policies. Additionally, the Senior Field Coordinator will mentor junior field staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience in commercial construction field supervision.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and safety programs.
  • Willingness to relocate to projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field supervision of on-site trade work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and adherence to project schedule requirements.
  • Coordinate material delivery and installation activities to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between trades to resolve conflicts and maintain progress.
  • Monitor workforce production and provide guidance to ensure compliance with Holder standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project management teams to address issues and support overall project objectives.
  • Promote Holder’s zero-accident safety culture and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Mentor junior field staff and contribute to team development and training initiatives.
