Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) – Data Center & Enterprise Markets
About The Position
IntelliPro is hiring a Senior Field Applications Engineer for a global leader in high-performance analog and power management semiconductors serving data center, AI, industrial automation, and consumer electronics markets. As customer success in these segments drives expansion of the U.S. team, this role serves as the technical interface between the company’s products and key customers, using product expertise to help secure design wins. The role provides technical support to data center, automotive, and commercial product customers across analog and mixed-signal products, including power management and signal-chain products. It also supports pre- and post-design-in activities, customer design work, and collaboration with technical marketing and engineering teams. The position requires travel of 10% to 25%.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of related experience in the power and analog IC field; the target profile is 5–10+ years.
- Hands-on product experience with PMICs, DC-DC converters, and/or AC-DC power products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong design and application background in power electronics.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on lab skills and familiarity with power circuit design and layout.
- Available to travel between 10% and 25%.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to data center, automotive, and commercial product customers for analog and mixed-signal products, including DC-DC converters, PMICs, AD/DA, amplifiers, and sensors.
- Review schematics and PCB layouts, evaluate thermal and efficiency performance, and perform board-level debugging.
- Drive pre- and post-design-in activities to secure design wins, expand sales opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth.
- Collaborate with technical marketing and engineering groups to create block diagrams and define new products that meet customer requirements.
