About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Field & Experiential Marketing Manager who gets genuinely excited about the full arc — from a wild idea on a whiteboard to the moment a teacher posts a picture of your activation on Instagram and tags all their friends. This is not a "manage the booth vendor and ship the banners" role. This is a creative and strategic builder role — one that's as much about inventing new ways to show up for teachers as it is about executing the playbook we've already started. Conference and trade show presence is part of it. But the bigger opportunity is everything beyond that: surprise-and-delight activations in teacher communities and own Brisk events, pop-ups, grassroots moments, and formats the edtech world hasn't seen yet. You'll be as comfortable hauling equipment and problem-solving on-site as you are pitching a bold new concept to leadership or pulling post-event attribution data. You think in experiences, not checkboxes. Conferences are just the beginning. We're not starting from zero. Here's a taste of what Brisk has already pulled off — and why we need someone to take it to the next level. The Brisk-It Barbeque — Our flagship conference booth isn't a booth. It's a backyard. Fake grass, hay bale seating, picnic tables, string lights, marquee letter signage, a brick backdrop, and a photo wall built for sharing. At our last major conference, we ran a full programming schedule out of the space — named sessions, educator creator takeovers, live feature drops, and a Slam Poetry Night. Teachers didn't just stop by. They came back. Swag teachers actually keep — We think hard about what ends up in a teacher's bag versus a hotel trash can. The result is merch people seek out at our booth, show off on social, and carry into their classrooms. We're looking for someone who raises the bar on this every single time. The bar is already high. Your job is to raise it.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Field marketing, events, partnerships, or related roles in a high-growth venture-backed startup.
  • Built memorable in-person experiences — booths, activations, or events that people photographed, shared, and talked about for months.
  • Experience being deeply comfortable in the details and the big picture — you can sketch the concept and pull the permit.
  • Energy and confidence on-site; things go sideways and you handle it.
  • Thoughts about the after — what did we capture, who signed up, what did we learn?
  • Natural collaboration skills - you can sell an idea internally and execute it externally.
  • Background from a consumer brand, CPG, or startup environment where experiential was treated as a serious growth channel — not just a line item.

Nice To Haves

  • Edtech experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own logistics from concept to load-out: venue/vendor sourcing, budget management, permitting, staffing, swag, setup, and teardown.
  • Be the person on the ground making it work — and make it look effortless.
  • Build repeatable playbooks so great activations can scale.
  • Take ownership of Brisk's field and events strategy and make it better — conference presence, owned events, community activations, and formats we haven't tried yet.
  • Dream up and pitch bold, memorable concepts that make teachers stop, engage, and share — then figure out how to actually execute them.
  • Evolve our signature moments (yes, including the BBQ booth) into an expanding portfolio of experiences that people genuinely talk about.
  • Define success clearly before every event: teacher signups, MAU lift, pipeline influenced, social impressions, share-worthiness.
  • Work with the broader marketing team to connect field activity to measurable teacher growth and district pipeline.
  • Report on ROI with rigor and push for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with brand, paid, lifecycle, and community teams to amplify event impact before, during, and after.
  • Partner with the sales and district team to align field presence with ABM and pipeline goals.
  • Brief the creative team and outside vendors with clear direction.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Stock options, vested over 4 years
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact on education through innovative technology.
