About The Position

The primary role of the ResMed Facilities Management function is to efficiently support the operation of ResMed’s facilities to support day-to-day operations and minimize operational downtime. This includes providing safe, effective, efficient, and responsive services to all areas of the business, covering facility and production. This role is for the 3rd shift, with hours from Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  • Excellent Hands-on skills & experiences, with good technical knowledge of building operations, maintenance, and spares management.
  • Proven technical experience including planning, supervising service providers/contractors, and achieving set targets.
  • Strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability in terms of facility Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of GMP requirements and ISO13485, ISO14001, and ISO45001.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or training in a specialty trade (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage facility-related services to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and monitoring of all facilities’ equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance of building’s facilities operations and provide technical input on gaps/improvement.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance for various mechanical & electrical equipment, including Electrical Systems, Fire Protection and Detection Systems, HVAC Systems, Building Management System, Environment Monitoring System, Compressed Air Systems, Plumbing & Sanitary system, Security system and FM soft services.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and document preventive and reactive work.
  • Carry out troubleshooting/repair to electrical and mechanical systems, general building works, and handyman tasks.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and follow-up closely with contractors on preventive maintenance and rectification to resolve facilities issues.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedule of all facilities’ equipment is adhered to and completed, including contractors adhering to and delivering their services.
  • Conduct timely inspections of all facility & building equipment and ensure proper functionality.
  • Ensure all facilities’ equipment that require a license/permit are timely renewed.
  • Prompt response to emergency calls regarding facilities breakdown, including after office hours presence to support operation and maintenance activities.
  • 24/7 standby.
  • Work closely with various functions to meet quality, regulatory, safety, operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Perform any other duties, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.
  • Works independently, likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
