About The Position

PES is seeking a senior facilities management professional to join our team. The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, management, and continuous improvement of all office operations at the company’s NYC headquarters, as well as at multiple other sites in the United States, including (but not limited to) Miami, and Bridgehampton. This role will ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace environment that supports business objectives, employee productivity, and brand standards. The position requires strong leadership, vendor management expertise, and experience managing complex, high-profile facilities critical to the successful operations of the company. This role will be required to be in the office five (5) days per week, with the majority of days in NYC, two days per week in Bridgehampton during June through August, and monthly travel to other East Coast locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8–12+ years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably in a corporate headquarters or Class A office environment.
  • Experience managing facilities in a dense urban setting (New York City strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • May require after-hours or weekend work for emergencies or major projects.
  • Fast-paced, high-visibility role supporting executive leadership and corporate staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety).
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including NYC building codes and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers (janitorial, security, engineering, landscaping, etc.).
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory, and maintenance of large office supplies and shared equipment.
  • Manage printer maintenance and service contracts, document shredding programs (e.g., Shred‑It bins), and relationships with off‑site storage providers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for non‑technical office vendors and service providers, including furniture repair, coffee and pantry equipment, plant vendors, maintenance providers, and other office services.
  • Provide oversight of pantry operations and food services in partnership with food & beverage provider.
  • Track service performance, resolve issues, and manage requests from employees related to facilities services.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to optimize workspace utilization and support hybrid work models.
  • Oversee office moves, reconfigurations, and expansions.
  • Ensure the workplace reflects company culture and enhances employee experience.
  • Develop and manage annual facilities budgets, including operating expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
  • Help maintain and enforce office facilities policies and procedures.
  • Partner with building management and Pretium Security to develop, document, and update emergency response plans, safety protocols, and business continuity measures.
  • Partner with Human Capital to communicate building notices, events, fire drills, safety trainings, and emergency updates to employees in a timely and clear manner.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and building management to address facilities‑related concerns or escalations.
  • Lead workplace safety programs and emergency preparedness planning.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Implement sustainability programs focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental impact.
  • Track and report on sustainability metrics and support corporate ESG goals.
