About The Position

As a Senior Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, you will mentor a team of maintenance professionals and assist in maintenance operations as well as in planning and executing preventative maintenance and equipment projects. You will lend your exceptional technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You will support maintenance operations, supervise contractors, and help ensure optimal functionality of equipment and infrastructure. Given the critical nature of this role, favorable overtime and weekend work will be required, along with participation in a rotating call shift. You will report to the Facilities Site Manager onsite in Monroeville, PA.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in mechanical maintenance, facilities maintenance, or similar for a manufacturing, industrial, or warehousing environment.
  • Relevant maintenance experience such as HVAC, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, controls, or PLCs.
  • Strong investigative, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office including general reporting with Excel and maintenance logs.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Training Certification in a relevant field is ideal.
  • Previous experience in team support, project involvement, or mentoring others is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance activities, helping to resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Coordinate and work alongside contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Follow and promote safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff.
  • Participate in a rotating call shift to assist with after-hours and emergency maintenance needs.
