Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Computer applications or Facility maintenance or 2 years of related work experience.
  • 2 years' experience operating and managing computerized maintenance management applications or similar programs; and developing and generating reports from database applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with facility maintenance processes in an acute care hospital.
  • Experience with Joint Commission Environment of Care Standards and Center for Medicare - Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation.

Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Planner works with the department manager and his/her designees to plan, schedule and allocate work in an equitable and timely manner.
  • Develops and maintains processes for collecting data and reporting the status of testing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory agencies.
  • Assists the department manager and his/her designee in documenting quality of work and productivity of the assigned departments.
  • Manages and maintains the work order database.
  • Utilizes the computerized maintenance management program to schedule, assign and monitor work as directed by the manager or his/her designees.
