About The Position

Our User Interface (UI) Engineering team leads the design and evaluation of technologies that make our innovative, game-changing products as easy to use as possible. We apply a user-centered, iterative design process to deliver usable interface designs across hardware and software products. We collect and make good use of a broad range of data and employ human factors engineering principles to identify and resolve usability problems and gain insights that influence product design and development. As an Senior Experience Designer – User Insights and Concept Strategy , you will help shape future product and experience direction by developing a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations. This role combines user research, strategic thinking, AI-enabled workflows, and experience ideation to identify opportunity spaces and explore new ways products, services, and ecosystems can create value for users. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related professional experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years; or PhD without experience; or equivalent experience in experience design, UX, design research, innovation strategy, or concept development
  • Demonstrated experience applying user insights to influence product, design, or experience decisions and generating concepts informed by user needs, market opportunities, and business objectives
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and conceptualize solutions that do not yet exist, generating multiple alternatives for consideration
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to support research, ideation, concept development, or insight synthesis workflows
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and visualization skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through clear recommendations and strategic thinking

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research, leveraging AI-enabled tools to uncover unmet needs, identify meaningful patterns, and accelerate concept generation
  • Explore and develop future experience concepts across products, services, and ecosystems, generating multiple directions and evaluating their value to users, differentiation potential, and business relevance
  • Translate user insights into clear opportunity spaces that inform product strategy, ecosystem development, and design priorities through concept narratives, prototypes, frameworks, and visual stories
  • Partner with industrial design, product management, engineering, marketing, and research teams to align concepts with user needs and business goals while navigating trade-offs across scope, schedule, cost, and quality
  • Support the growth of more junior team members by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and encouraging end-to-end thinking in their daily work
