About The Position

The Senior Executive, Digital Channels, Platforms & Performance is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery, performance and optimisation of digital channels and platforms across the Corporate Affairs division. The role exists to turn digital strategy into high-quality execution by ensuring websites, social media channels and digital platforms are well run, publishing is disciplined, delivery is joined up, and performance is actively managed and improved over time. As the core delivery and performance lead within the digital function, the role plays a central part in ensuring digital activity across External Affairs, Marketing & Brand and Internal Communications is reliable, insight-led and aligned to wider divisional priorities. It also helps embed stronger channel standards, smarter workflows, better social media operations and more efficient, AI-enabled ways of working so that the division can communicate and engage more effectively at scale.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in digital channel delivery, platform operations, digital performance, digital publishing or a related role within a complex organisational, communications or audience-facing environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing day-to-day websites, social media channels and publishing platforms, ensuring reliable delivery and consistent quality.
  • Strong understanding of digital performance measurement, analytics and optimisation across web, social media and other digital channels.
  • Experience coordinating digital delivery across multiple internal stakeholders, workstreams and priorities.
  • Experience working with digital workflows, publishing discipline, content operations and delivery standards.
  • Strong capability in day-to-day management of digital channels, including website and social media operations.
  • Strong digital content delivery and workflow coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage publishing discipline, execution quality and delivery pace across multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation and delivery of digital channels and platforms used across Corporate Affairs, including website, social media, publishing tools and associated systems within scope.
  • Ensure content is published accurately, consistently and on time across relevant digital channels, including websites, social media and other owned digital channels.
  • Coordinate digital delivery across External Affairs, Marketing & Brand and Internal Communications priorities, ensuring work is sequenced, aligned and delivered to a high standard.
  • Oversee publishing workflows and channel execution across web, social and other owned digital channels so that delivery is reliable, timely and responsive to business needs.
  • Support the effective use of digital tools and platforms across the division, helping ensure good practice, quality and consistency in execution.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the division to ensure digital plans are translated into practical delivery.
  • Track and monitor digital performance, usage, engagement and audience behaviour across websites, social media and other digital channels and platforms.
  • Produce clear and usable performance reporting to support decision-making, prioritisation and improvement.
  • Analyse data and performance trends to identify what is working, where there are gaps and where optimisation is needed.
  • Apply performance insight to improve digital effectiveness, user experience, audience engagement, reach and delivery quality over time.
  • Support a more disciplined and insight-led approach to digital activity across the division.
  • Help ensure performance is not just measured, but actively used to improve outcomes.
  • Support the application of digital standards, social media discipline, publishing quality and delivery processes across the division.
  • Manage workflows, dependencies and handovers between digital, content, campaign and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure digital delivery is well organised and that responsibilities, timing and quality expectations are clear.
  • Identify and escalate delivery risks, platform issues, workflow bottlenecks or capacity constraints as required.
  • Help maintain strong operational discipline across websites, social media channels and digital platforms without slowing pace or responsiveness.
  • Contribute to stronger consistency in how digital work is planned, delivered and reviewed.
  • Support the implementation of AI-enabled workflows and tools that improve delivery speed, quality, efficiency and insight.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve digital operations, templates, social workflows and working practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of digital delivery in line with divisional priorities and evolving audience needs.
