About The Position

R&P is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive Operations Analyst Support to the Deputy Program Acquisition Executive (DPAE) CVN Front Office to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The individual in this role would apply administrative and program management expertise to coordinate and deconflict schedules and calendars, facilitate meetings, escort visitors, coordinate travel logistics, manage correspondence, and support the resolution of complex acquisition, production, in-service, and dismantlement challenges across DPAE CVN and its three program offices. The candidate should possess working knowledge of Navy Correspondence and Naval Message formatting and distribution, as well as proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications. This position will also serve as backup support to the RADM and Executive Director EAs, assist the Chief of Staff (CoS), and directly support the Director of Logistics, Planning & Admin with all facilities, logistics, and administrative matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years of related or applicable professional experience supporting Flag Officers/ Senior Executives
  • Extensive and heavy, proactive calendar management experience.
  • Active DOD Security Clearance.
  • Ability to adapt, be flexible to daily office needs.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • High proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, OneNote, etc.)
  • Ability to interface efficiently with team members and technical leads.
  • Strong administrative skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized program management support to include assisting in developing briefings, action item responses, point papers on a variety of topics within as required.
  • Prepare, revise, manage and route official correspondence.
  • Prepare Executive Summary Memorandums for the RADM/ED as necessary.
  • Coordinate travel details and prepare travel vouchers for the RADM/ED in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Manage meetings, coordinate team events, reserve conference rooms and take meeting minutes as needed.
  • Order office supplies, prepare visit requests, track yearly Fitreps for all assigned military personnel, and ensure awards and plaques are completed for individuals leaving the command.
  • Manage and deconflict calendars, facilitate meetings and escort guests as needed.
  • Ensure Read Aheads for the RADM/ED are submitted on-time per the SOP. Assist with conference room set up as needed.
  • Coordinate meeting and travel logistics for the RADM/ED including lodging, transportation, visit requests, parking, badges, etc.
