About The Position

As the Senior Executive Assistant to the President, Next Generation Security (NGS), you will serve as a trusted partner and representative of the President’s office, providing high-level administrative and operational support to a critical, fast-growing business unit. This role extends beyond traditional executive support. You will operate with a high degree of ownership and judgment, enabling the President’s effectiveness by anticipating needs, aligning stakeholders, and maintaining operational rhythm across a complex, global organization. You will navigate competing priorities with precision and discretion, acting as a central point of coordination across the leadership team and broader Palo Alto Networks executive ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience supporting senior executives (President, EVP, or equivalent) within a complex, global organization, ideally in a high-growth technology or cybersecurity environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with sound judgment, discretion, and executive presence in high-visibility environments
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to rapidly assimilate context and align to shifting priorities across a complex stakeholder environment
  • Proven experience managing complex calendars, global travel, and executive-level engagements
  • Strong program and project management capabilities, with the ability to drive execution across multiple priorities and resolve challenges creatively
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted proxy for the President, managing priorities, communications, and stakeholder alignment with sound judgment and discretion
  • Manage a highly complex, global calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and effective use of executive time
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, logistics, and expense management
  • Ensure the President is fully prepared for meetings and engagements with the appropriate context, materials, and alignment
  • Partner closely with senior leaders and the EA network to drive coordination across calendars, communications, and key initiatives
  • Lead high-impact engagements, including executive offsites, Sales Kickoffs, and global All-Hands meetings, from planning through execution and follow-through
  • Apply structured program and project management approaches to drive execution across key business initiatives
  • Anticipate shifting priorities, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain momentum for the leadership team
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, representing the President’s office with credibility and executive presence
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operating rhythms to enhance the effectiveness of the President and leadership team
  • Collaborate with the broader EA community to share best practices and elevate executive support across the organization
