About The Position

Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Vancouver Branch for Senior Estimator to lead and support the estimating and pre-construction process from early opportunity identification through to project handover to operations. This role will help to implement and maintain estimating standards across branches, while ensuring estimates are accurate, strategic, and aligned with company processes.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Architecture, or direct experience equivalent
Construction Related Technology Certificate Diploma is required
10+ years of experience in Pre-Construction, Estimating, and/or related field
Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) sector of the construction industry
Estimating and Quantity Take Off software knowledge is a must
Ability to understand and analyse contract specifications, drawings, scopes of works and other construction documents and communicate these in written text and speech
Must have a strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude

Must be self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and to be challenged
Strong analytical, above average mathematical skills, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
