The Senior Estimator will actively support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values,” representing the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” This role involves discerning take-off elements of the work accurately, assigning them to appropriate database items, and making recommendations for database adjustments. The Senior Estimator will solicit and evaluate subcontract and vendor pricing, identify and mitigate deficiencies in RFx, Scope of Work (SOW), and drawings, and understand the need for incorporating team clarifications while drafting/editing them as needed. The position requires developing quantity-based estimates from limited data, EPC estimates from sketches, Plot plans, and P&IDs, and ensuring all trades are coordinated for a complete project evaluation. Estimates must be traceable to defining documents. The Senior Estimator will prepare bridging documents, participate in reviews (estimate, proposal, constructability), and discussions for cost and schedule savings. Responsibilities include organizing estimates, estimating craft support labor, staff, equipment, subcontracts, materials, construction equipment, indirect costs, and facilities. The role also involves developing preliminary lifting plans, selecting appropriate equipment, assisting in generating resource-loaded preliminary schedules, understanding project cash flow, and performing risk ranging analysis for contingency assignment. Other duties as required or assigned.
