About The Position

The Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Software Automation Project Manager leads the company’s most complex and ambiguous projects, without direct supervisory responsibilities. The role clarifies goals, builds schedules and budgets, guides cross-functional teams, including peers, developers, and sometimes upper management, and follows work through to measurable results. The Senior ERP and Software Automation Project Manager advises executives and factory teams, mentors other project managers, and helps improve departmental processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related field required; master’s degree in business administration preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience leading cross-functional technology or software projects, including ERP and automation initiatives
  • Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, enterprise-scale projects with strategic risk, operational impact, and high visibility
  • Own end-to-end delivery from intake through benefit realization across multiple teams and business areas
  • Facilitate requirement discovery through interviews, observations, and workshops; challenge assumptions and resolve gaps
  • Translate business objectives into structured deliverables, timelines, and resource strategies
  • Continuously evaluate project health, risk posture, and ROI; course-correct decisively as conditions change
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and executive communication to build trust and secure alignment
  • Authorize budget shifts, scope changes, and vendor work within delegated authority to protect outcomes
  • Resolve upstream ambiguity to enable clear execution for project teams and stakeholders
  • Oversee validation, user testing, and deployment across departments and manufacturing sites
  • Promote knowledge transfer by improving templates, documentation, and onboarding pathways for others
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and resource needs with foresight and negotiation
  • Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project phases
  • Surface operational pain points and improvement opportunities through direct observation and feedback loops
  • Escalate stalled efforts, misalignment, or ambiguity with clarity and urgency to protect delivery momentum
  • Visit production areas regularly to validate adoption, uncover friction, build relationships, and identify new opportunities
