About The Position

CGI is seeking an experienced Senior ERP Functional Business Analyst (Finance) to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will support enterprise financial modernization initiatives, finance business process improvements, and ERP system enhancements for a large state government client. As a member of CGI's Advantage program team, you will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver innovative financial management solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Functional Business Analyst (ERP) experience supporting finance and accounting functions
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting
  • Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills
  • Experience supporting government or enterprise financial system implementations
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CGI Advantage or other government ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of public sector financial management, budgeting, procurement, compliance, and regulatory processes
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, PMI-PBA, CPA, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting organizational change management and business transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements for complex financial and accounting processes
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions with business leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications
  • Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
  • Support organizational change management activities
  • Mentor junior business analysts
  • Manage multiple workstreams and priorities
  • Identify and communicate project risks and mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous process improvement efforts
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
