Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA, CM, PPM)
  • Solid understanding of financial processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, and cash management
  • Experience with Subledger Accounting (SLA), financial reporting structures, and multi-ledger environments
  • Strong accounting and finance acumen
  • Experience with OTBI reporting and dashboards
  • Knowledge of integrations with boundary finance applications (e.g., banking platforms, tax engines, reconciliation tools)
  • Familiarity with Oracle quarterly release cycles and system enhancements
  • Hands-on configuration experience across Oracle Financials modules
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional system solutions across integrated environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
  • 4–6+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials
  • Experience supporting implementations, enhancements, and production environments
  • Experience working in integrated finance ecosystems with multiple boundary applications
  • Experience supporting financial transformation initiatives and system improvements

  • Experience with Vertex and/or Blackline integrations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Financials modules (AR, AP, GL, FA, Cash Management, PPM).
  • Configure and maintain Oracle Financials modules to support business processes, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Define and maintain chart of accounts, ledgers, subledger accounting rules (SLA), financial hierarchies, and accounting configurations.
  • Support integrations and data flows between Oracle and boundary finance applications such as tax, reconciliation, banking, and reporting systems.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and process procedures to support operational consistency.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using OTBI.
  • Support treasury operations by maintaining bank accounts, reconciliation rules, and cash management processes.
  • Assist with period-end close activities, subledger reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across Oracle and integrated systems.
  • Provide day-to-day functional support by troubleshooting and resolving system and integration issues across Oracle and boundary applications.
  • Coordinate with IT, technical teams, and external vendors to resolve defects and system challenges.
  • Support audit and compliance activities by providing documentation, system validation, and data traceability across systems.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Support enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives across Oracle and connected applications through design, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Participate in onboarding acquired entities, including system configuration, validation, and integration alignment.
  • Support Oracle quarterly updates by reviewing release notes, executing testing, and validating impacted processes.
  • Assist with data migration and reconciliation efforts across Oracle and boundary systems during implementations and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, reporting solutions, and financial data interfaces across enterprise platforms.
