About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Trainer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive end-user and super-user training in support of Finance Processes. Initially the focus will be on delivering SAP S/4 Finance and Materials Management as part of an enterprise-wide transformation program. Over time however the scope of training will increase to include all facets required to successfully enable Finance, Procurement and Inventory Management processes for Sciens. This role partners with business process owners, functional consultants, change management teams, and project leadership to ensure employees are prepared to effectively use Service solutions. The trainer develops engaging learning materials, facilitates instructor-led and virtual training, creates e-learning content, and measures user adoption to support a successful SAP enabled transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Education, or related field.
  • 5+ years of SAP training experience.
  • Experience supporting at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes.
  • Experience developing learning materials using Microsoft Office and SAP WalkMe or similar digital adoption platforms.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and user experience.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with Signavio
  • Experience working within an Agile implementation methodology.
  • SAP certification in one or more functional modules is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP solutions and understanding of their impact on business processes.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud.
  • Experience training users on two or more of the following: SAP Finance (FI/CO) - Essential, Materials Management (MM) – Procurement and Inventory Management - Essential, Sales & Distribution (SD), Service Management, Master Data, SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP Analytics and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Prosci Change Management certification or similar is a plus.
  • Certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly desirable.
  • SAP-related certifications are a plus.
  • Understanding of the Finance Functional Domain is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the SAP training strategy aligned with project milestones.
  • Perform training needs assessments across business functions.
  • Build role-based learning paths for end users, super users, managers, and support teams.
  • Coordinate training schedules with project managers and business stakeholders.
  • Create instructor-led training materials, participant guides, quick reference cards, job aids, simulations, videos, and e-learning modules.
  • Develop role-specific training exercises using SAP S/4HANA business scenarios.
  • Maintain training documentation as system functionality evolves.
  • Ensure materials align with organizational standards and branding.
  • Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on SAP training sessions.
  • Facilitate workshops and system demonstrations.
  • Support Train-the-Trainer programs.
  • Coach business super users and local champions.
  • Monitor learner participation and training completion.
  • Assess learner competency through quizzes and practical exercises.
  • Collect feedback and continuously improve training effectiveness.
  • Support user adoption initiatives during go-live and hypercare.
  • Partner with Functional Leads across: Procurement (MM), Sales (SD), Service Management, Project Management, SAP C4C and SAP CPQ.
  • Translate business processes into easy-to-understand learning content.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to understand new functionality.
  • Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives.
  • Assist with communications regarding system changes.
  • Reinforce new business processes and standard operating procedures.
