About The Position

The Senior ERP Developer provides day-to-day support for the City of Henderson’s HCM and FCM PeopleSoft applications and customizations. The role develops and maintains PeopleSoft application functionality through analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The developer also provides weekly status updates on assigned tasks and support tickets.

The work is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for a 38-hour work week with a half-hour unpaid lunch each day. The position is based at the City of Henderson City Hall, Department of Information Technology, 240 S Water Street, Henderson, Nevada. The estimated duration is six months, potentially longer.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in the design, implementation, and support of ERP applications.
• Experience working with PL/SQL tools and PeopleTools 8.62, including Application Designer, query development, BI Publisher, and SQR/SQC.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ERP systems and administration; database structure, installation, design, access, extraction, storage, security, and recovery; and database, application, and server problem identification, tracking, and vendor support.
• Knowledge of systems analysis methods; functional connections and integration touchpoints within and between ERP systems; and business process mapping and flow.
• Knowledge of finance and human resource management processes, data collection and classification, automated notification processes, governmental security requirements, leadership, project management, training, and general business administration.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local confidentiality laws and regulations.
• Ability to identify and resolve application or system problems and perform technical system and application studies.
• Ability to provide expert direction to functional analysts and end-users in person or by telephone.
• Ability to create queries and reports and document ERP system environments, standards, and procedures.
• Ability to provide information and presentations on ERP applications, including automated notification processes, functional possibilities, and query creation.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
