About The Position

Leupold and Stevens is seeking a business systems analyst to provide project and production support for their ERP, planning, supply chain & manufacturing systems. This role requires an individual who is a subject matter expert on ERP and confident in leading business processes & IT systems solution discussions in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be the go-to IT business analyst for Business Applications focusing on Manufacturing, Planning, Quality and Inventory, utilizing Oracle E-Business Suite as the main ERP along with other 3rd party solutions. Responsibilities include leading system solution discussions, demonstrating expert knowledge of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), enabling data-driven decisions through SQL, and designing/implementing development solutions for Oracle E-Business suite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, Business Operations, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated SDLC experience with full lifecycle IT projects, including waterfall and agile projects.
  • Minimum 5+ Years hands-on experience with ERP systems in a discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Direct, hands-on fundamental understanding of key operational concepts in a MFG environment such as: Multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routers, Product Information Management (PIM), Knowledge of constraint-based planning approaches, Demand and Inventory Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and associated quality, cost accounting and material handling.
  • Advanced knowledge of Visio, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft O365 tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP, preferably with BOM, PIM, WIP & Inventory/WMS modules.
  • Experience with Demand, Inventory and Supply Planning software such as Logility, Kinaxis or Oracle ASCP.
  • Oracle SQL & PL/SQL in an E-Business Suite environment.
  • Microsoft Power BI reporting.
  • Experience with Integration tools such as Jitterbit, Mulesoft, Boomi, or other similar technologies.
  • Jira & Confluence for service desk, issue, and project management.
  • APICS, CPIM, PMP, ITIL or other relevant certifications are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project and production support for ERP, planning, supply chain & manufacturing systems.
  • Act as the go-to IT business analyst for Business Applications focusing on Manufacturing, Planning, Quality and Inventory.
  • Lead system solution discussions with business operations and development teams.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), including developing and delivering detailed requirements documentation, process flow diagrams, and testing plans.
  • Enable data driven decisions through SQL knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite data model.
  • Design & implement development solutions for Oracle E-Business suite utilizing tools such as SQL, PL/SQL & Power BI.
  • Support the full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including IT planning, defining functional and technical specifications, and SDLC management.
  • Support Requirements Development by conducting interviews and facilitating workshops to elicit business requirements from Engineers, Manufacturing, Planning and Procurement teams, and the cost accounting team.
  • Research, analyze, model and organize information for developing requirements.
  • Decompose high-level information and abstract up from low-level information and to distinguish solution ideas from business needs.
  • Facilitate requirements validation sessions and present findings to client management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate to resolve requirements conflicts between stakeholders.
  • Research, document, and validate current and future state processes and designs (functional and technical).
  • Help define best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for alternative business solutions analyses.
  • Manage software vendor service requests & production support issue escalation.
