About The Position

Aaction Rents is looking for an experienced Equipment Technician to join their team. This role requires strong diagnostic and repair skills, the ability to work independently, support multiple store locations, and provide leadership and mentorship to the shop. This is not an entry-level position and is suited for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot efficiently, and desires to be part of a solid team in a fast-paced rental environment. The technician will be responsible for working on construction and rental equipment, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting and repair, preventative maintenance and inspections, and diagnosing and repairing equipment in both shop and field settings. Additionally, the role involves supporting and mentoring developing technicians.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on construction, rental, or heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-minded

Nice To Haves

• Welding/fabrication experience
• CDL/Class A
