About The Position

Supports the mission statement of Facilities Management in the repair and maintenance of the University's mechanized equipment. Supervision of mechanics and performance of work while maintaining vehicles and other equipment in safe and operational condition.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical repair of motorized equipment, ranging from small engines and construction equipment to diesel buses.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule work from a varied customer base.
• Ability to operate a computer and maintain detailed records.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs.
• Refrigeration Certification.
• Hold a Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Certification as a master technician.

Nice To Haves

• Education, training, and or certification in Automotive Technology of ASE preferred.
