Senior Epic Applications Analyst - EpicCare Ambulatory
About The Position
Leads the comprehensive analysis, configuration, implementation, and optimization of complex Epic EHR applications, with a focus on EpicCare Ambulatory. Independently resolves advanced, often cross-functional issues and drives significant enhancements and process improvements within specific application areas. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborates with diverse stakeholders to deliver advanced technical solutions aligned with business objectives. The role analyzes current workflows, system functionality, and data; designs, builds, and optimizes complex Epic IT solutions; resolves application and technical issues; translates business requirements into system designs; develops internal procedures and best practices; evaluates new Epic functionality; and coordinates complex issues with Epic technical support and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Epic certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis of current-state workflows, system functionality, and data, and design, build, and optimize complex Epic IT solutions.
- Independently evaluate and resolve complex, cross-functional application problems and technical issues as a primary technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into effective Epic system designs.
- Develop internal procedures and best practices to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance, fostering their development and adherence to standards and best practices.
- Analyze new Epic functionality and identify strategic enhancements, process improvements, and system optimizations affecting multiple projects and functions.
- Provide expert insights for strategic planning discussions.
- Coordinate with Epic technical support and external partners, managing complex issues through resolution.
