About The Position

APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist on a full-time basis to participate in a variety of environmental compliance tasks in support of our RCRA and state hazardous waste, non-RCRA waste, regulated waste and hazardous materials management programs. The successful candidate will have a background in waste profile development and quality assurance/quality control review of waste profiles, waste determinations, and Safety Data Sheets. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills to facilitate client interaction, supplier interaction, and to provide direction to junior level staff. This position will primarily be in an office environment but may also require travel to client facilities conduct environmental compliance reviews/audits and/or gather related data.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, a core science (such as geology, chemistry, physics, or biology), engineering, or related area required.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills required. Must have demonstrated strength and proficiency with Microsoft applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint Online, and ability to learn other software applications.
May be asked to work in the field and travel to complete work.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience or training regarding environmental compliance and related federal and state environmental regulations.
Experience with RCRA and state hazardous waste, non-RCRA waste, and regulated waste compliance and national experience.
