About The Position

EnSafe is seeking a Part-Time Senior Environmental Project Manager/Engineer to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects supporting diverse clients globally. The position is based in Bowling Green, KY, with the possibility of remote work. The role involves leading environmental investigations, assessments, and remediation projects, engaging with clients, regulators, and multi-disciplinary teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 15 + years of relevant experience required.
  • P.E. required.
  • Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs.
  • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 20% to meet needs and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support landfill engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps and design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.
  • Planning and performing site assessments, technology feasibility evaluations, construction oversight, and remedy O&M.
  • Prepare, review, and mentor staff in the development of design documents, remedial alternatives analyses, specifications, and reports.
  • Communicate with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Provide project and client management for sites ranging from landfill sites to complex industrial and federal facilities.
  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and long-term cost projections.
  • Provide technical leadership and assistance to teams across multiple offices, including problem-solving and mentoring.
