Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals, consistently achieving measurable results while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience in Canadian cybersecurity, with equivalent professional experience to a Bachelor's.
  • Expertise in the Toronto/GTA corporate landscape and Western Canadian enterprise market across Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Public Sector, Retail.
  • Build networks, secure access, foster trust, and engage enterprise security leadership on critical concerns regarding emerging AI risks.
  • Demonstrate sales expertise in advanced security architectures, specializing in Micro-Segmentation, Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateways, and Secure Enterprise Browsers.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical security capabilities into clear, risk-mitigating business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the sales strategy for Akamai's premium security portfolio internally and externally across major enterprise accounts in Canada.
  • Positioning Akamai's core security pillars against next-generation risks.
  • Leveraging internal security engineers, threat researchers, and executive resources within a matrixed organization to secure complex deals effectively.
  • Delivering impactful risk-reduction strategies by leveraging Zero Trust expertise and engaging C-level executives to drive innovative security solutions.
  • Developing and sustaining a qualified, predictable pipeline of new and expansion business across the assigned Canadian enterprise territory.
