About The Position

Our client, a well-established enterprise organization, is adding a Senior Enterprise Integration Engineer to its technology team. This is a hands-on build role for an engineer who is strongest with MuleSoft and modern API development. You will own integrations end to end: designing new connections between systems, improving the ones already in place, and resolving issues when data stops flowing. The work spans many applications and partner teams across a broad technology landscape.

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on background building and supporting enterprise integrations.
  • Direct experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, or both.
  • Solid command of REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and common integration patterns.
  • Comfort working with JSON, XML, and related data and API standards.
  • Working knowledge of microservices and current application architecture approaches.
  • Exposure to messaging, asynchronous processing, or event-driven designs.
  • Coding skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language.
  • Practical use of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
  • Sharp troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Background in large, multi-system enterprise IT environments.
  • Clear communicator who works well with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, release, and support integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform.
  • Create and maintain APIs and web services that let applications share data reliably.
  • Turn business and technical needs into integration designs that scale.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration problems across development, QA, and production.
  • Contribute to automated build, deployment, and release pipelines.
  • Partner with development, architecture, infrastructure, and other IT groups.
  • Strengthen the security, performance, stability, and maintainability of existing integrations.
  • Review peers' code and help shape engineering standards and best practices.
  • Keep clear documentation for integrations, APIs, and related processes.
