About The Position

A company built to serve you. It's your career, Shelter it! This role is for a Senior Enterprise Data Engineer with a minimum starting pay of $90,646 - $112,382 per year. The position is an Individual Contributor role located in Columbia, Missouri, and is On-Site and Full-Time. Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Engineer.
  • Expertise in Qlik Replicate, Compose, and DBTLabs.
  • Hands-on experience in Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Qlik Replicate, Compose, and DBTLabs, Astronomer, Airflow, Github for data integration, replication, and transformation.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Expertise in Snowflake, including data ingestion, storage, performance optimization, and security.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and working with cloud-based data solutions and services.
  • Familiarity with data quality, data governance, and data lifecycle management practices.
  • Solid programming skills in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data manipulation and automation.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve data engineering issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, data integration solutions, and data architecture using Qlik Replicate, Compose, and DBTLabs.
  • Ensure efficient and scalable data storage, processing, and analytics using Snowflake.
