Senior Enterprise Client Strategist

AccrueNew York, NY
51d$165,000 - $220,000

About The Position

The Senior Enterprise Client Strategist is a key leader responsible for maximizing the strategic and commercial success of Accrue’s largest merchant relationships. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives at enterprise partners, helping them leverage Accrue’s platform to drive long-term customer loyalty, retention, and growth. This role blends strategic consulting, business operations, and creative marketing leadership. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, align cross-functional stakeholders, and design frameworks that scale partnership success across the enterprise segment. We’re looking for someone who can see around corners — connecting dots across product, data, and marketing — and turn insight into action.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in client strategy, strategic partnerships, product strategy, or consulting — with experience leading enterprise accounts or programs
  • Proven success managing executive relationships and driving measurable outcomes across multiple functions
  • A systems thinker who can translate complexity into clarity and create scalable, repeatable solutions
  • Deep comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across product, marketing, and data teams
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative inputs into strategic recommendations
  • Track record of shaping lifecycle or loyalty marketing initiatives that drive engagement and retention
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence — equally adept in boardroom settings and cross-functional working sessions
  • High ownership mindset and bias for action; comfortable balancing strategic depth with hands-on execution
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Suite, HubSpot, Figma, and advanced Excel or BI platform

Nice To Haves

  • Background in consulting, fintech, or enterprise SaaS
  • Experience leading or scaling client success / strategy teams
  • Exposure to payments infrastructure, loyalty ecosystems, or customer data platform

Responsibilities

  • Own executive-level relationships with Accrue’s top enterprise partners, serving as their strategic advisor and advocate within Accrue
  • Develop and execute multi-quarter growth plans, aligning partner and Accrue goals across product adoption, marketing impact, and commercial outcomes
  • Design scalable frameworks for partner success — including playbooks, reporting structures, and engagement models — that improve efficiency and impact across the enterprise portfolio
  • Collaborate with C-level and VP stakeholders to shape joint business plans, co-marketing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives that expand usage and deepen customer value
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing leaders to identify opportunities for product innovation and remove systemic friction points
  • Synthesize data into strategic insight, developing recommendations that guide product prioritization, lifecycle marketing, and customer experience improvements
  • Lead structured analyses and business reviews, distilling complex performance data into clear narratives and actionable strategies for internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion voice-of-customer insights to influence Accrue’s roadmap and ensure alignment with merchant priorities
  • Mentor and guide team members, helping elevate client strategy standards across the organization
