About The Position

Autheo is seeking a part-time Equity Cofounder to serve as a Senior Enterprise Architect. This role is crucial for defining and governing the target architecture for enterprise clients integrating with the Autheo blockchain. The successful candidate will own the vision for how client systems (identity, contracts, storage, compute, ERP, cloud) interact with the Autheo ecosystem, including defining the control set and outlining what will remain on existing systems. This position involves creating roadmaps and governance frameworks, ensuring that enterprise integrations are scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations. The role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, cloud platforms, and compliance standards, with a focus on translating complex technical concepts into actionable plans for both technical teams and business stakeholders, such as CIOs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in enterprise architecture, with experience running a roadmap and a governance forum, not just creating diagrams.
  • Experience with blockchain, cloud platforms, or infrastructure within an enterprise estate.
  • Familiarity with EVM or Cosmos/IBC sufficient to collaborate with the Protocol team.
  • Compliance fluency: understanding of GDPR, SOC 2, or healthcare controls, and the ability to identify where Autheo currently falls short.
  • Demonstrated experience in deprecating an architectural pattern, with existing logs.
  • Clear writing skills that can be understood by both CIOs and engineers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience taking a Fortune 500 or GSI estate from current-state to a shipped slice, including components that remained on the old system.
  • Experience with TOGAF or an equivalent framework that has been practically applied.
  • Experience with identity, payments, or supply-chain architecture that has reached production.

Responsibilities

  • Define a single target architecture encompassing Layer-1, DevHub, TheoID, Marketplace, IBC, and the Base bridge, considering both live and upcoming features.
  • Map the current-state versus target-state for a buyer's existing estate, detailing what remains in their cloud, what moves to Autheo, and the exit strategy, including a written cutover plan.
  • Establish principles for the Solutions Architect to follow, ensuring consistency and preventing architectural drift.
  • Define decision rights, establish an architecture review board, and create a written exception path for architectural decisions.
  • Map real-world controls such as GDPR, CCPA, healthcare regulations, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, understanding that a certification requires a program owner and auditor.
  • Define on-chain policy only where Protocol has an enforcement mechanism, ensuring controls can be enforced by the chain.
  • Align the Autheo surface to named buyer objectives, such as settlement, identity, data paths, or supply chain events, prioritizing finance, infrastructure, and regulated data.
  • Collaborate with CIOs, GSI architects, Security, and Protocol teams, explaining validator design, THEO utility, and future Mainnet developments.
  • Handoff to the Solutions Architect for lighthouse blueprints and to Partnerships for account management and closing deals.
  • Ensure that announced transformations have a clear pattern and an assigned owner.

Benefits

  • Equity in Launch Legends, Autheo, and the WFO Creator Network.
  • Token allocations in the Autheo blockchain (THEO).
  • Salaried compensation expected to begin within 4 to 5 months, following node, token sales, or funding.
  • Remote work opportunity.
