About The Position

The Senior Engineering Projects Specialist Engineering supports the delivery of U.S. engineering initiatives and capital projects by leading defined project workstreams or sub-projects in alignment with IM Methodology. The Project Lead drives day-to-day coordination, technical execution, and issue resolution, ensuring safe, on-time, and cost-effective achievement of project objectives under the direction of the Project Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 2–4 years of engineering or project-related experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or operations environment
  • Experience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, or process improvements at the site level
  • Familiarity with factory operations, safety standards, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project scheduling or planning tools is a plus
  • Working knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required)

Responsibilities

  • Execute U.S. initiative projects in alignment with IM Methodology, ensuring delivery against approved scope, cost, schedule, safety, quality, and performance targets
  • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments; support feasibility studies and business case development to enable informed decision-making and prioritization
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, EHS, and Finance—as well as external partners to ensure alignment, effective communication, and on-time milestone delivery
  • Lead day-to-day project execution, including oversight of contractors and suppliers; manage installation and commissioning activities in compliance with engineering, safety, and environmental standards
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including change management, progress reporting, budget tracking, and capitalization inputs; support project close-out and financial closure
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying lean principles, value stream analysis, and process optimization; capture lessons learned and promote standardization across U.S. initiatives
  • Deliver structured project updates and reviews to the U.S. Initiative Manager and leadership teams, ensuring transparency, governance, and data-driven decision-making
