About The Position

The Engineering Projects Manager will lead and manage the execution of assigned U.S. engineering initiatives and capital projects in alignment with IM Methodology—from feasibility and business case development through execution and final handover. Building on a strong foundation in project engineering, this role ensures disciplined planning, safe and efficient execution, effective cost and schedule control, regulatory compliance, and the successful delivery of expected business benefits in support of U.S. initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of project management or engineering experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or operations environment
  • Experience supporting or leading mid-sized engineering or capital projects at the site or regional level
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, safety standards, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
  • Action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities

  • Execute U.S. initiative projects in alignment with IM Methodology, ensuring delivery against approved scope, cost, schedule, safety, quality, and performance targets
  • Develop detailed project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments; support feasibility studies and business case development to enable informed decision-making and prioritization
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, EHS, and Finance—as well as external partners to ensure alignment, effective communication, and timely milestone achievement
  • Lead day-to-day project execution, including oversight of contractors and suppliers, and manage installation and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and environmental standards
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including change management, progress reporting, budget tracking, and capitalization inputs; support project close-out and financial closure activities
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying lean principles, value stream analysis, and process optimization; capture lessons learned and promote standardization across U.S. initiatives
  • Provide structured project updates and reviews to the U.S. Initiative Manager and leadership teams, ensuring transparency, governance, and data-driven decision-making
