Reporting to an Engineering Program Manager or Engineering Operations leader, the Senior Engineering Program Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering programs across multiple teams. This role is crucial for maintaining program schedules, tracking actions and dependencies, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of engineering activities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, enhancing operational effectiveness, and supporting the achievement of engineering objectives.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience coordinating projects, programs, or operational activities within an engineering, technology, or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience maintaining schedules, action trackers, risk logs, and status reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Proficiency with common project management, collaboration, and productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively across distributed teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting hardware, software, semiconductor, or other complex engineering programs.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance practices.
  • Experience creating dashboards, metrics, and management reporting.
  • Understanding of engineering product development lifecycles.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced technology organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering program activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and action trackers.
  • Organize and facilitate regular program meetings, reviews, and status updates.
  • Track progress against agreed deliverables and highlight risks or delays in a timely manner.
  • Support program managers and engineering leaders with planning, reporting, and governance activities.
  • Ensure actions, decisions, and dependencies are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations to provide clear visibility of program status.
  • Assist with resource planning, workload tracking, and coordination across engineering groups.
  • Drive follow-up activities to ensure commitments are completed and stakeholders remain aligned.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of program management processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Support the onboarding of new team members into program processes and operating rhythms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help resolve operational and delivery challenges.
