About The Position

The Senior Engineering Manager for the Applied Water-Cooled Chiller NPD team will provide strategic leadership and direction for the development of innovative water-cooled chiller products, overseeing projects from initial feasibility studies through to implementation in the factory. This role is responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure successful product development and launch. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in centrifugal compression technology and water-cooled chiller system design, along with substantial experience in large-scale project management. They will lead cross-functional teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Strong communication skills are essential, as the manager will facilitate technical review boards (TRBs), organize project passports, and effectively influence design decisions across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 10+ years of experience. OR Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 8+ years of experience. OR PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing teams
  • Proven expertise in centrifugal compression technology and HVAC system modeling and design
