About The Position

Alan is building the new standard in prevention insurance, integrating insurance, prevention, and care into a single user experience. We are on a journey to build a global leading company with a unique culture, aiming to make prevention the norm. We are hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada, and beyond. This role is within the Work Environment area, which builds the AI-native company. Alan has developed a distinctive way of working: radical transparency, written culture, distributed decision-making, no managers, and no meetings by default. Agentic AI empowers us to make this more personalized, with AI agents handling organizational complexity and allowing individuals to focus on impactful work. The Work Environment team is small, growing fast, and this role will lead its engineering. You will build and work on Alan Home (the internal OS and source of truth), the company's automation platform (Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, user lifecycle automation), replace generic SaaS with Alan-native software where beneficial, and grow and lead a team. You will also be responsible for technical direction, operational excellence, architecture, quality standards, security practices, and incident response for critical internal systems. A key aspect of this role is staying hands-on, as engineering leaders are expected to build.
