About The Position

As a Senior Engineering Analyst/Tech Lead within Trust and Safety SAGE, you will lead the architecture and scaling of automated safety evaluation and enforcement platforms for next-generation generative AI products. You will help transition bespoke evaluation scripts to high-throughput, low-latency LLM-as-a-judge autorater infrastructure that supports continuous offline testing and real-time launch decisions. The role calls for deep technical expertise and a strong interest in GenAI integrity and AI abuse. You will lead work across high-scrutiny domains, including Health (YMYL clinical accuracy), Civics and Elections (misinformation and electoral integrity), and the AI ecosystem, helping ensure models use authoritative consensus, robust safety guardrails, and sub-100ms enforcement mitigations. The team partners with model and product teams to deliver trusted and helpful generative AI experiences, define product safety strategy, assess risks and mitigations, and coordinate cross-functional expertise. The position works with sensitive content and may involve exposure to graphic, controversial, or upsetting material. Individual pay depends on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The stated US compensation is $159,000–$230,000 USD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
