Senior Engineer
About The Position
We are looking for a structural engineer to assist in structural investigations, analyses, and repair design. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review of structural designs for code compliance Structural analysis, document review, and research for root cause evaluation On-site inspections and collection of data. Note that site inspections may require multi-day travel to other parts of the country Preparation of reports and repair details Regular attendance in the office (located at the Wrigley Building, 410 N Michigan Ave) Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the design and/or investigation of structures
- Licensure – EIT min.
- Working towards SE licensure
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the investigation of structural failures and/or preparation of reports for attorney clients preferred.
