About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Engineer, Water to collaborate with UPW-IWT Process Engineering teams on equipment reliability, process optimization, and operational performance. The role analyzes equipment failures and reliability metrics and drives improvements in maintenance models and system designs. It leads cross-functional efforts to support the reliability and maintainability of equipment and systems, while using performance data to improve productivity and efficiency. The position is full-time and on-site.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• 60 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 60 months of experience involving capacity forecasting and capacity management; process improvement; product lifecycle management; semiconductor manufacturing; data analysis and statistics; risk assessment; reliability design and quality; and project management.
• Strong quality and reliability background, including experience with Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and FMEA.
• Strong understanding of reliability concepts, including FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, maintenance types, MTTF, MTBF, and MTTR.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment failures and reliability metrics with UPW-IWT Process Engineering teams.
• Drive improvements in maintenance models and system designs.
• Study performance data and implement engineering solutions to optimize processes.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to ensure the reliability and maintainability of equipment and systems.
• Analyze performance data and develop operational metrics focused on productivity and efficiency.
