This role manages new product introduction and volume production support engineering for specific products after transfer from design to in-house or outsourced production. The engineer will interface with design, process, test, reliability, and manufacturing engineering to solve product and production issues as products move through their lifecycle. The role also involves developing and sustaining process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields, conducting low yield root cause analysis, and performing data analysis on yield, test data, and fabrication electrical device and tool data. Circuit analysis using electronic design tools and evaluation using precision measurement equipment are also key aspects of this position. The goal is to drive future preventive actions and solutions to improve test, design, and processes for optimal quality and cost. This position offers partial telecommute benefits (2 days/week work from home).
