About The Position

Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineer, New Product Introduction Engineering, based at its Aurora, Illinois facility. This role serves as a bridge between R&D and Operations, supporting the transition of products from development to commercial manufacturing. The engineer builds technical and operational understanding of new products and processes, ensures operational readiness, mitigates launch risks, and supports delivery of high-quality products to customers. The role partners with formulation scientists and other stakeholders to understand requirements, conducts hazard reviews, creates pilot-scale procedures, trains pilot plant operators, monitors batch quality, investigates non-conformances, and implements corrective actions. It also plans and executes product evaluation studies and additional experiments, then summarizes trial data and applies findings to manufacturing processes. The engineer leads development of optimized manufacturing process designs for new product introductions, with attention to safety, quality, and production efficiency. Responsibilities include managing project scope, success criteria, deliverables, and timelines; resolving issues promptly; and working across R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Procurement. Candidates should be technically strong, results-driven, proactive, effective communicators, comfortable managing ambiguity and multiple projects, and able to deliver with minimal guidance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field, at least five years of relevant industry experience, and at least three years each in manufacturing process design and project management. Compensation is listed at $135,000–$150,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on overall skills. The role is eligible for an annual bonus and offers paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, health, dental and vision insurance, and education assistance. Entegris does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
