New Product Introduction Engineer- Mechatronics

ASML•Wilton, CT
•$104,000 - $150,000•Onsite

About The Position

ASML is hiring a Mechanic/Mechatronics New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. The role operates in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary development environment and focuses on building and maintaining supplier relationships to industrialize manufacturing processes for mechanical components and parts. The engineer works with suppliers and ASML cross-sector development teams to integrate supplier technologies and processes into new product development, optimizing product generation and securing high-quality supplier-delivered parts. The NPI Engineer is the primary engineering collaborator between mechanical suppliers and ASML, from early supplier involvement through product design and maturity. As part of the Design & Engineering (D&E) project team, the engineer helps ensure that designs account for quality, manufacturability, and serviceability, and drives supplier selection, engagement, qualification, and readiness for volume production. This is a technical manufacturing and engineering position, not a general Quality Assurance, Black Belt, or Lean Manufacturing role; the desired background combines technical and manufacturing expertise with quality assurance experience. The position is located on-site in Wilton, Connecticut. A flexible arrangement may be available for roles conducive to remote work, up to two days per week. Business needs may require domestic or international travel, normally around 20% and potentially more during escalations with notice. The role may involve work in cleanrooms or labs, including use of protective garments and equipment, and exposure to lasers, chemicals, ladders, platforms, strong magnetic fields, high voltage, and currents. The stated base annual salary range is $104,000–$150,000. The posting also displays a separate $0–$0 range. ASML offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance; participation in the company 401(k) plan; eight hours of vacation leave per month; and 13 paid holidays per calendar year. Candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under U.S. export regulations before beginning work.
