About The Position

Within the Thales AVS/FLX Aeronautical Equipment and Techniques competence center, you will join the Testability and Test Means (TMT) Department team. You will participate in the development of Test Systems used in development for the Product Departments on the one hand and on the other hand those implemented by the Industrial Competence Center for the production of Avionics equipment.

Requirements

B.Tech/Masters in Electronics & Communication or Electrical engineering or equivalent with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of Hardware Test bench development.
Strong knowledge of Hardware system test bench design.
Strong knowledge of Auto CAD electrical design for wiring Harness.
Strong knowledge in test fixture, sub rack design and develop a Test bench system.
Strong experience in creating technical documentation like HVVPr, and IVVQPr for test bench.
Ability to identify or perform the COTS, Test equipment for test bench.
Familiar with mechanical structure required for hardware Test System.
Strong understanding of Test bench Development lifecycles including design, development, testing, integration & manufacturing.
Knowledge in RS232/422, RS-485, I2C, SPI, ARINC429, Ethernet, CAN and video interfaces.
Hands on experience for test equipment such as oscilloscope, DC/AC programmable power supply, Arbitrary/Function waveform generator, digital multi meter/current meter and spectrum Analyzer.
Knowledge on configuration management tools such as SVN, JIRA and Git.

Nice To Haves

Working experience in Aerospace/Avionics/Defense products development is desirable.
Experience in CE certification will have added advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop Test Systems for our customers: product departments, production or support teams.
Ensure the management of our test bench suppliers: organization, planning, sequencing of activities, technical progress & ensuring test bench delivery.
Develop testing resources such as automatic test benches using multidisciplinary skills in system and HW.
Be a force for innovation and suggestions for improvement in the face of the various problems encountered with operational staff, with a team spirit for the Company.
Technically manage suppliers to ensure their progress and be critical of the quality of their work.
Study / propose / technical solutions at system level.
