Senior Engineer - Field

Vector AtomicPleasanton, CA

About The Position

Vector Atomic, an IonQ company is building quantum devices for applications including GPS-free navigation and timing, geophysical exploration, and telecommunications. We are focused on delivering near-term products that take advantage of the exquisite properties of quantum systems. Our devices are designed with the form, fit, function, and cost for the real world. We are looking for a Field Support Engineer to support our quantum timing product lines. This is a customer-facing, hands-on position supporting deployment, troubleshooting, and repair of our advanced rack-mounted quantum and photonics systems. You will serve as the technical bridge between our customers and engineering/manufacturing team—installing new systems at customer locations, resolving product issues in the field, and helping shape our service processes from the ground up. We are seeking strong individual contributors that take ownership of their work while supporting overall team goals. Our rapidly growing team of 80 plus brings an innovative but practical approach to developing quantum devices. If you'd like to work on transformational technologies in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, come join our team!
